Art is part of my inner nature. I explore the world through co-creation with it. The world opens up to me so that I can know myself.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I am particularly drawn to exploring themes of metamodernism and liminality, creating what I call 'Portals of Consciousness'—art that acts as a bridge between the physical world and deeper states of being. I love painting, or a combination of painting with graphic elements. l work with various materials: acrylic, oil and watercolor, and charcoal.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration stems from the intersection of history and my personal journey of self-awareness. I view life not as a closed loop, but as a series of 'Portals'—broken circles that transform into a spiral. This 'broken circle' represents the moment we break free from cyclicity to open new possibilities for self-renewal. I find profound beauty in this state of transition (liminality), where history and personal experience merge to create a gateway into a new cycle of consciousness and growth.
What would you do with $25,000?This award will fuel my 'Portals' project and a large-scale exhibition, helping people in transition reconnect with their inner strength and trust in new possibilities. My art is a catalyst for self-belief. As a volunteer, I provide art therapy for Ukrainian refugees at 'Samopomich' NY and wounded veterans at 'Revived Soldiers Ukraine.' These funds will help scale my studio and develop programs using my 'Portals' to help others rediscover their light and move toward a new cycle of life.
