I'm storyteller, love to capture emotions and candid interactions between people. I love portraits, black and white photos and Polaroids.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Emotions, expressions on people faces and body language. Every person has a story and I try to capture their secret world inside. Mostly candid moments, like photojournalism with touch of art. That is why I love polaroids - moments captured for eternity. You have image in your head and after click - you have 3 minutes to see your artistic vision.
Where do you find inspiration?Mostly in music and art pieces. Also, in books like history, art, biography, fiction...Sometimes nature moves me on, especially in the fall, where everything changes and getting ready for cold winter. I was born on the cost of Adriatic sea, so my hometown Split is always inspiration. City old more than 1700 years, with beautiful, narrow stone streets, architecture from Roman Empire and great people full of joy and living every day `dolce vita`.
What would you do with $25,000?Hmmm. Part will invest in new photography equipment. Visit Japan which is on my bucket list. Also, prepare charity exhibition in my hometown for blind people and for the orphan kids in Split. Donate part of money to red cross and to public kitchen.
