I love “visiting” other worlds and realities. My artworks serve as the doorways)))
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
The kind of art that can switch your attention towards the story behind the art piece. The art that creates questions in your mind about the atmosphere, the characters, what is going to happen… when you are pulled to guess the symbolism behind the artwork.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in literature: J.L. Borges is my favorite. His “Encyclopedia of Imaginary Beings” and “Labyrinth” are always bore ideas in my mind. I also love “Akvarium” and BG music- beautiful, fun, lyrical, philosophical songs by Boris Grebenchikov.
What would you do with $25,000?I teach visual art and literature to children of various ages. In many instances we do theatre pieces to understand and learn about the intentions and atmosphere of a story we discuss in class. I would love to do a full theatrical production, with a real budget to be able to have a stage, props, costumes, choreography, music, lighting and time. That would be awesome.
