I create Traditional beadwork for native Americans, as a tribal member it is my responsibility to share my capabilities I was blessed with.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I am most passionate about creating beadwork. Each piece I make carries intention, story, and cultural identity. Beading connects me to my ancestors, my community, and my role as a modern Indigenous artist. I love transforming small beads into meaningful designs that honor tradition while expressing my own voice and art.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my culture, my people, and the land around me. Traditional patterns, stories passed down through generations, and the strength of Indigenous resilience guide my work. I’m also inspired by my family and children, they remind me why it’s important to keep our art, identity, and traditions alive
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would invest in growing my art into a sustainable business. I would purchase high-quality materials, expand my workspace, and create more pieces that reflect Indigenous culture. I would also give back by teaching beading in my community, helping preserve our traditions and empowering others to create and share their stories.
