You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to make are mandala patterns because it allows the viewer to be in a meditative state, following the circles and dots makes you feel present in that moment of time. My Style of Art consists of floral designs and patterns on canvas with various medias.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from nature and watching bees pollinate flowers and my cultural identities . Painting mandalas with bright colors are important to me coming from a Punjabi Mexican background. Most Importantly, Embracing the environment and painting mandalas and bees works as a form to convince the audience to grow more flowers for the bees. My naturist approach sparks conversations about bees and their function on this planet, hoping to inspire to save our bees.
What would you do with $25,000?With the funds from this project I would donate the money to non profit organizations that focus on programs are available for young adults to stay busy and out the streets and I would use some of the funds to build and maintain community gardens in my community.
