Cinematography and music have given me the ability to visualize a world most people only get to hear.

I love to film and edit music videos incorporating animation. I love to capture a feeling so I can stay in it. I connect with music videos because they exist in between sound and one’s soul, a mere glimpse or window into what I can only see inside my mind. Cinematography allows me to examine and interpret the beautiful world that the Lord created. I always try to share love and put a piece of my soul in every piece. 1Timothy 4:4 “For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected”
Where do you find inspiration? My biggest inspiration is my grandfather, a Navy captain who specialized in photographing people all over the world. Later in life he photographed newborns and young families in his church entirely for free, so they could have something to remember themselves by. His kindness and service to others inspires everything I do. I am a servant to the Lord and a service to the people. Ultimately my work helps others express their feelings not just my own.
What would you do with $25,000?After three years I walked away from a major career opportunity seven months ago because it was morally compromising and putting my family at risk. I chose integrity over advancement and started my own company from scratch. This grant would help me relocate to Florida, invest in equipment, and grow my production company and online platform. I am not starting over, I am starting right. This money would give me the foundation to continue building something I am truly proud of.
