Large scale work, similar to my life size whales. There is something about walking into a house and just being blown away by the visual scale of something. My favorite type of art to create is the kind that people buy. As artists there is no better feeling than knowing your wanted and you are able to make a living off your craft. It’s a mental high knowing people continually appreciate your work!
Where do you find inspiration?Well… I live by the ocean, so I mostly carve nautical. If I stopped selling I would pivot. That being said , I am lucky enough to stay in my lane. My favorite is when people slow me to come up with works to coordinate in their homes.
What would you do with $25,000?Honestly…. Nothing! I keep my head down and don’t stop working. Like anyone else help pay bills, that’s about it. Keep it for a rainy day to alleviate unexpected stress.
