I want to capture images of people and places I love through my own personal artworks.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Through most of my career I painted Pennsylvania landscapes a few figures and stills, but over the last several years I have been doing more figures and portraits. Today, I prefer painting people, but I still like a beautiful scene.
Where do you find inspiration? The people and scenes of Pennsylvania provide all the inspiration I need. I especially love painting scenes of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. I am also inspired when I receive mural commissions like the murals I did for the oldest Brewery in America at Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville, Pa. I also did a few military murals inside the VFW in Mount Carmel, Pa.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest some of it in my business and do some repairs to my building and property.
