Art is apart of my DNA, I feel lost when I'm not head first in a project I'm working on. Art is how I see the world we live in! No days off!
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love every form of art. I love creating and writing music, skateboarding, painting, and drawing. But my favorite right now is Tattooing. I have come to fall in love with this form, which started because it was either learn this form or starve. Sink or swim. I Came to prison in 2013, then my main support had just got locked up as well. So not many options to choose from, but was already drawing for other artists. Everything I do right now is with a single needle!
Where do you find inspiration?I find it in many things! Other art is a main one, I'll see something that intrigues or interests me, then I will begin to feel an urge to get a piece together to ink in someone's skin! Bigger the better! Music is also a huge inspiration for anything I do. It motivates me to move! I'm inspired by anything that that makes me say or think "Damn!" Never giving up!
What would you do with $25,000?I would put it in a savings account until I am released from prison next year and use it to start my own tattoo studio. Tattooing in my opinion is going to save my life. I was raised in a broken home, surrounded by drug abuse and anything the streets can bring. I believe I am one of the very few who can actually say prison has givin' me a blessing. An occupation so I won't have to return to the only thing I've ever known. The streets.
