I love creating art because it gives me a chance to express myself in ways that can be shared with others. Ways that create conversations.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
It’s tough going through all the answers in my mind, and only being able to choose one. I’d choose drawing because of the way I flow and intuitively create with it. It’s one of the few other ways where I feel truly present.
Where do you find inspiration? In my everyday life. In the interactions I have with others, with nature, with animals. In the questions I ask myself just before clarity strikes. I find inspiration in presence. In the way that presence gives you a chance to observe more, or observe from a higher perspective. Sincere and genuine acts of love.
What would you do with $25,000?Long term goal is to open a community center. In the meantime I’d invest that money into office space and gear to create more art. Open collaborations to work with other artists, create larger scale projects/ pieces. Ultimately I’d want my artwork to fund a community center for others to utilize long after I’m gone.
