Marvin Dubob

Art, like language, is symbolic and representational by design. It points to what’s beyond thought, ego, ever-present.

What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite type of art to create is mixed media… adapting across forms, functions, and the content of experience… shapeshifting to what each moment calls for. Curiosity and spontaneity give rise to evolving techniques… each serving as a pointer through which awareness is revealed. Its inclusivity creates a rare harmony… where the juxtaposition of form, function, and experience aligns.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in that quiet, silent awareness… prior to thought, feeling, and perception… an undivided, unconditioned being from which the body-mind expresses what seeks to come through… where clarity reveals itself as what is.

What would you do with $25,000?

The 25K would serve the noble purpose of clearing my debt… and give me a rare moment of peace of mind… before life’s next inevitable endeavor throws me right back into it.
