I'm 61, been painting for a long time now. Seems my works have been notes along the way, mostly reflections on a spiritual journey.

I've been using acrylics since I was pregnant with my daughter, which is, wow---34 years, but was trained in oils at U Maine under Michael Lewis who was extreamly influential on the intention of my work which is a spiritual journey which has echoed the extreme bootcamp like challenges of my growth. My paintings are, hopefully, inspirational for others to find peace and resonates a meditative and higher vibrational energy.
Where do you find inspiration?A lot comes from psychology, specifically Carl Jung. Various spiritual teachings and religious foundations, mostly Eastern, sufi poetry, music which spans from Miles Davis to Tool to Piazolla. The master painters Klee, Rothko, Kandinsky, DaVinci, Monet, Gottlieb to name a few. A lot of my images come to mind during my meditations also.
What would you do with $25,000?I really need a bigger studio. I manage somehow in a walk in closet. When it's pouring outside and I'm not feeling like the long bike ride home, I blow up the air mattress but have to pull a lot out of the room to fit it. Yeah, it's that small! I'm grateful for it! I managed to strike a deal with the owners of the building it's in and have use of it in exchange for a weekly cleaning I do for them. I miss working larger, and a larger space would allow me to do so.
