I use mostly acrylic, as it is easiest in my current environment; but I honestly love mixed media; Adding whatever, small or large, gritty or smooth, color or texture that adds depth, dimension and detail to a canvas or tile or wall makes me giddy. I believe those who see art should also be able to feel it and that they are a part of it.
Where do you find inspiration?The surprise in my mother's voice when she hears my call, the solitude of living far from home, the rush of adrenaline as I race down blue highways to the arms of my secret keeper and the unconditional love in my aged father's eyes.
What would you do with $25,000?I'd love to build a little studio somewhere. If I could spend the rest of my days finding paint or textiles or adhesive or resin somewhere on my body and on every piece of clothing I own, I would be the happiest girl in the world.
