Where do you find inspiration?I create work inspired by moments that are often overlooked—a child at play, a forgotten toy, fleeting light moving through the trees, or a quiet expression that reveals something deeper beneath the surface. These moments may seem simple, but they carry emotional weight. They hold the beginnings of identity, memory, and the subtle experiences that shape who we become.
What would you do with $25,000?If awarded the $25,000, I will use the funding to expand the scale, clarity, and reach of my work. This includes investing in materials, increasing the physical presence of my pieces, and dedicating focused studio time to develop a cohesive, fully realized body of work. I will also prioritize professional documentation and presentation to position the work within a broader audience. This support will allow me to take necessary creative risks and push my practice further.
