Art is my passion. It’s my saving grace. First I lost myself in publishing my books. Now it’s adding paint to my canvas. It’s therapeutic
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m an eclectic artist. I’ve been painting since 1981 using pastels first. Then I went into oil paintings. I like the freedom that acrylic paints gives me. It dries quickly on canvas. I have over 300 canvases done. I paint what I feel
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from what I feel mostly. Portraits are personalities I want to capture how I see the person. I love seascapes and water scenes most lately
What would you do with $25,000?I would pay bills for sure. Also, it seems we’re always at the pharmacy for my husband’s meds. I can’t open an art gallery for artists. That’s off the table. So, I believe I’d love to teach the basics of art. Art classes for young people ages 8 to 12. I would furnish supplies. I have the room. Also I’d do book signings in my home. A book club is off the tabl also. But right now, I’m having fun meeting other artists. Thank you for sponsoring this artist event. It’s been fun. I hope to win 🤞🤞
