As a storyteller, you immortalize moments that fade in real life. If you could record one feeling forever — what would it be, and why?
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
As a filmmaker, you study light and shadow - and that can translate to film in a powerful way. In relationships, what truths live in the shadows that we’re most afraid to film? Unconventional truths (ethical non-monogamy, poly relationships, role reversals, fetishes). All that was considered taboo is now coming to the forefront of mainstream film and TV because the audiences are changing.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration connecting with other people. Pleasure and pain often share the same room — how do you decide which one you’re willing to sit with longer? You're going to experience both at some degree. The question is which one are you more comfortable and willing to explore authentically for the sake of growth.
What would you do with $25,000?There’s a moment in every woman’s life when she realizes she’s been loving and creating from a place of survival instead of softness. What was the moment that forced you to redefine what safe, grown-woman intimacy looks like for you? I would make a film about this.
