Art isn't just art. It's a mindset, something I identify with. It's part of who I am, not just what I do. When I'm painting, I'm being me.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I starting painting a few years ago. I'm experimenting with oil. So now I'm trying many different images to see what I like best.
Where do you find inspiration?I take an art class. Most of the time we get images from our instructor to relate/copy. Each image we get is,a lesson to conquer in the next challenge. My fisherman is,from a photo.
What would you do with $25,000?I'd sign up for more classes. They can be expensive. I'd have to travel to get into the ones that are farther away to cover transportation and class costs. I retired during covid, so I'm on fixed income. I don't have a car or access to one. For art showings here in the city- costs money- prints, framing, accessories, etc. And transportations costs to get my work to other sites. The list goes on.
