Creating is essential to me. Does not matter what life throws at me -- as long as I can create, I can survive it and find joy in my life.

Paintings are my favorite. I love working with acrylics on canvas, soft pastels on velour, watercolors on handmade papers, and mixed media on everything. I also enjoy making double-sided, light-interactive paintings on acrylic panels, and making artcards/ACEOs and tiny art on canvas because art should be accessible! Sometiimes I love to just doodle or incorporate my poetry into a painting.
Where do you find inspiration? From my life experiences, the people I have met, the places I have been, what I have seen and felt, what I have learned and unlearned. I find inspiration in many things. Often, I am inspired by just watching the sky (this explains the huge amount of cloud photos on my phone.)
What would you do with $25,000?A lot! I would definitely make more art, do more framing. And I would help other artists, including my 2 sons. Also I would fund the performing arts scholarship I set up in honor of my husband who I lost to cancer last year... and rescue more dogs!
