I create art to turn feeling, nature, and quiet moments into something visible that brings connection, calm, and meaning.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m most drawn to creating textured abstract landscapes that blend bold, tactile paint with small, minimal human elements. I like turning simple strokes and materials into immersive scenes that suggest journeys, scale, and quiet moments in nature, where viewers can find their own meaning within the composition.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature, movement, and quiet, often overlooked moments. Landscapes, textures, and the way colors exist in the natural world influence my work, but I’m equally inspired by small human experiences, walking, exploring, pausing. I’m drawn to the balance between vast environments and subtle presence, and I translate those observations into simplified, textured forms.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest the $25,000 directly into expanding my practice, upgrading materials and tools, developing a larger body of work, and exploring new scales and textures that I haven’t been able to pursue yet. It would also allow me to dedicate more time to creating, experiment more freely, and share my work with a wider audience through exhibitions and collaborations. Ultimately, I would use it to push my work forward while staying true to the quiet, meaningful experiences I aim to create.
