The past few years have been focused on public art opportunities, where the RFQ is for suspended sculpture. I find that suspending work provides the most open, ended dimensionality to work with. All of my work uses wood in the form of either veneer or up cycled wood.
Where do you find inspiration?My work is based around finding new repeated patterns in the natural world, such as clouds, fauna, flora, and landscape.
What would you do with $25,000?Honestly, it would keep my studio afloat through rent. In order to build and experiment for future projects and current ones, having a studio is crucial. Any income that I get from selling Art goes straight into paying for my studio.
