I started painting watching Bob Ross on PBS. I've retired due to illness. Painting gives me something to look forward too.

I love doing representable paintings of people in daily life. Trying to find the shades that match their skin . At times it's difficult but it makes the mind work overtime. As a change of pace I do watercolors or abstracts, freedom to move about the canvas and the colors it releases is very calming to me.
Where do you find inspiration?I love watching the old reruns of Bob Ross. With the few magic strokes he made life explode on the canvas. My children often give me different size canvases, and I try to translate my inner vision to the smaller worlds. I also follow several open source photography sites looking for my next challenge. I see a photo and find I can do that with a little bit of work.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to buy supplies to continue my painting travels. It would also allow me to enter local and national contests to try to put my art out in front of the masses. Due to my illness I don't know how long I have left to paint my legacy, but I would use it to continue my journey through my world of brush strokes.
