I started painting a few years ago when I was off work with a medical condition. I wasn’t feeling too good about myself and it helped me .
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I like to paint with acrylic and oil paints . I find oil to look better but it’s more work and time because of how long it takes to dry . I enjoy mixing my own paints to get my own pigments which give my art originality. I usually paint in the abstract because I just paint by feel and emotion it just happens almost by it self.
Where do you find inspiration? It’s hard to find inspiration but for me I just know when it’s time to paint , it just happens by itself . I can feel nothing for months and don’t really create and then all of a sudden I can paint and become very prolific. It’s such a good feeling when the creativity comes but I can’t rush it .
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to make a proper artwork studio and buy good paints and materials. I would like to get more opportunity to showcase and promote my art . Thanks for the chance!
