My favourite type of art I like to create is my own visual style. Painting is my primary favourite next to printmaking and sculpture. I specialize in contemporary visual art influenced by expressionism and fauvism. Often using vibrant colors and bold, thick, wild, brushstrokes (impasto) to convey a raw emotion, spontaneity, and connection.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration can come from multiple sources. Inspiration can come on any given day and time. I tend to draw inspiration from the deep internal world of emotion to the external beauty of the physical world. Things such as nature, human experiences, other works of art, history & mythology, and multimedia culture (movies, music, and books). The things I just mentioned is where my Inspiration comes from.
What would you do with $25,000?With this much amount, as an emerging artist it would provide a significant opportunity to transition from early career development to a sustainable professional practice. This amount can help me fund and invest into studio time and produce more new works of art. Boosting marketing and visibility. As of present time I'm still a working artist.
