I create art because it brings order to the chaos of this fascinating shared experience we are in the midst of called life.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
This is a tough question, quite possibly a trick. I would have to say creating anything that makes the viewer smile, laugh, or think deep and introspectively. My art is at its core an outward visual language that tells a story from within but, with no words or spoken language at all. The result is the reactions in those who see my work. My favorite reaction is seeing others inspired. I doodle in public and it ignites ambitions in others that becomes art of their own. We are all artists inside.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere I go. I am inspired by all the things I love and enjoy. So I guess since everything I like is cool (** this is because I stopped liking dumb shit a long time ago) I could summarize my sources of inspiration into a simple answer. I find inspiration primarily from a curated group of humans I keep around me, the places we love, and music that makes you move without even realizing it. So you could say, “Cool is my muse” *wink wink
What would you do with $25,000?First I’d get it all in $1.00 bills and throw them on my bed. I’d have a friend come by so we can have sex atop the 25,000 dollar bills (25k isn’t FU money… but it would be F me money in this case) and when done we’ll take all the ones that stick to our skin and go spend all that on snow cones. The rest I would use to purchase materials and secure a dedicated studio space that I desperately need as I progress toward making my art my FT career.
