Crocheted items, because I can make an item which is beautiful, wearable, and useful. My friends and family have all gotten a piece from me at some point so I love being able to gift to random people who I meet in the world and who seem like they will enjoy it or maybe they need a little boost on a bad day. Usually a scarf with a pocket, a purse or water bottle holder, and sometimes a shawl or baby blanket.
Where do you find inspiration?Flowers and their shapes are very interesting to me. I will make bouquets from wire and beads. The sky and its varied combinations depending on time or weather can be brought together in a shawl or blanket. Sacred geometry and stellar phenomena are fun to try and mimic with mobiles or jewelry.
What would you do with $25,000?Buy beads and yarn. Probably a set of really good shelves. Give my mom some of it. Pay off some debt to a friend which I have given up on trying to do because of the amount. I don't know if there'd be anything left after that.
