I am drawn to discovery—diving, finding, observing. Art lets me extend that moment. To preserve, study and be in awe of the sublime.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love restoring crustaceans with an airbrush, layering lacquer-based tones to bring their natural colors back to life. But I’m just as drawn to pushing beyond realism—working vibrant acrylics into the intricate patterns of lobsters and crabs, letting color move through them in a more expressive, almost electric way. It’s where precision meets imagination, and where I get to decide how far the natural world can stretch into art.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration is rooted in the rhythm of South Florida—the salt air, the light on the water, and the endless life beneath the surface. The ocean and all its inhabitants shape everything I create. At the heart of it all are my son and my husband, who don’t just inspire me—they stand beside me as my constant support, grounding my passion and encouraging it to grow.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 i would build myself an actual art studio /shop and hopefully move my business out of the garage!
