Art keeps me alive and helps me understand/express my emotions. It speaks in a language everyone understands.

Oil Painting is my favorite but I also work in graphite/pan pastel/charcoal drawing and watercolor. I love painting figures and portraits and nature.
Where do you find inspiration?Evrything around me is inspiring, my personal experiences, nature, the world and things happening in it. Mostly though it comes from somthing I cant express with words that im feeling, and I just have to get it out so I paint.
What would you do with $25,000?Invest it back into my art. I want to start teaching people how to paint with Oils. My dream is to be able to bring back apprenticeships where students learn from the masters through 1-8 years of work. I would buy some tools to be able to teach people the canvas building techniques I use. Saws, drills, T squares. Depending on how much is leftover from purchasing the tools, I either would take a trip and work on some plein air paintings, or offer some classes for free.
