I create art to transform memory and emotion into visual stories, exploring identity and turning everyday moments into shared meaning.

What is your favorite type of art to create? I don’t limit myself to one form.I am a multimedia artist because my work comes from life, culture, and real human experiences. I create through painting, watercolor, sculpture, and mixed media, often using natural and found materials. My art tells stories—stories of pain, survival, identity, and truth. I focus on real-life issues like violence, racism, and injustice, not to shock people, but to make them feel, to help them see what is often ignored.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from real life—especially from struggle, from people whose voices are unheard, and from my own experiences. I come from a place where life was not easy, and many stories were left untold. I carry those stories with me. The people around me, my community, and the culture I belong to shaped me and gave me strength when I had very little. I am inspired by pain, but also by resilience—the quiet courage people carry every day.
What would you do with $25,000?If I had $25,000, I would use it to finally give my art the space it deserves. I would invest in materials, build stronger, more meaningful projects, and create exhibitions where people can come and truly experience these stories. I would also support my community—especially young artists who, like me, may not have the financial means but have powerful voices inside them. I know what it feels like to have talent but no resources, to want to create but not have the opportunity.
