Painting is like breathing. I create pieces that offer refuge, hope, and healing through vivid color, texture, and nature-inspired beauty.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
The kind of art I love to create are vibrant, textured palette knife landscapes and waterscapes with a contemporary impressionism influence. I’m drawn to the energy, movement, and depth that emerge through layers of color and texture, and I love creating work that feels alive, expressive, and full of emotion.
Where do you find inspiration?Nature has always been my deepest source of inspiration. Its shifting light, quiet stillness, and ever-changing beauty remind me of hope, healing, and God’s presence in everyday life. I’m especially drawn to painting landscapes and waterscapes because they reflect the places that feel most restorative to me. Through my work, I hope to share a sense of peace, wonder, and refuge with others.
What would you do with $25,000?I would expand my gallery to provide more painting space and room to offer classes, and exhibitions in my small town where art education options are limited.
