What is your favorite type of art to create? I create environmental art that transforms discarded materials into refined, immersive works. By recontextualizing waste into sculptural forms, I explore the balance between sustainability and luxury, while engaging communities in rethinking value, consumption, and collective responsibility.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in urban environments, overlooked materials, and the communities that interact with them. Through travel and outreach, I observe how cultures reuse, adapt, and evolve—fueling work that raises awareness, sparks dialogue, and reconnects people to their environment.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest the funds into creating a large-scale environmental installation built entirely from reclaimed materials, developed through community workshops and outreach. The project would engage local residents in the collection and transformation process, raising awareness around waste, value, and environmental responsibility. A portion would also support tools, fabrication, and educational programming—ensuring the work is not only impactful as an artwork.
