I’ve never fully trusted words—art feels closer to truth, a language open to interpretation yet somehow more understood.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My creative methods span from painting with pine needles and monograph print making to digital drawing and jewelry design and production. Though my all time favorite technique is good ole acrylic painting.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m naturally curious and deeply drawn to different cultures and ways of life, often finding those outside the U.S. especially creative and vibrantly meaningful. There’s something in that diversity that both inspires and humbles me. It also brings something deeper—a pull to acknowledge and emotionally process the injustices so many people and communities endure across world. In that space, I feel a need to listen, reflect, and release what feels heavy through artistic expression .
What would you do with $25,000?First, I’d use part of it to build stability—paying down anything that’s weighing on me and strengthening savings so life feels less tight and more grounded day to day. Then I’d dedicate a portion to supporting children and families impacted by war and displacement through trusted humanitarian organizations doing direct, on-the-ground work. And I’d keep some for myself—creating space to slow down, travel in a way that restores me, and invest in my creative life so making art is consistent.
