Creating (art) of any kind is the perfect outlet for those intense emotions that you may not be able to find an outlet for, otherwise.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I am a Jack of all trades when it comes to art. I work with so many different types of materials. Right now, I prefer making pottery from locally sourced clay, next week I might prefer sculptin with polymer clay, or painting with acrylics, or doing graffiti, or making wind chimes and jewelry from bone, or knapping arrowheads from stone, or making dolls from corn husks etc ... I don't really have a "favorite" type of art. I just fade in and out of different styles, depending on what I'm feeling.
Where do you find inspiration?I can find inspiration in even the smallest or oddest things... a broken winged butterfly, a lonely cricket, animals, the forest, my family, my friends, other artist's work, my own abstract thoughts and memories... It's completely random but when it hits, I do so love that feeling of being truly inspired because it leads me to create some of my best work.
What would you do with $25,000?To be completely honest, I would use the money to make my home a safer and brighter place for my autistic 5 year old daughter (who often creates art with me) and also for her 3 elder siblings. $25,000 would make a huge difference in our lives.
