I was born with crayons in my hands, and probably drawing where I shouldn’t. Art is a “have to”; it’s how I express what words can’t.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My current favorite art to create is through abstract photography. I find an everyday object and see something completely different through my photographs, making the original object unrecognizable. I am drawn to color, texture, and what nature creates without any help. My photographs are what I see. I don't manipulate them.
Where do you find inspiration?Nature is a big inspiration. Wandering through the library or a museum inspires me. Kindness inspires me. My friends also often inspire me.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to explore my former ways of creating art. I was more into fine art before going to art school and moving into a professional career. I want to revisit the art I once created without the restrictions that often come with professional work.
