I create art to feel, to heal, and to make the unseen parts of life visible.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m drawn to emotional, storytelling pieces that feel layered and a little uncomfortable. I like creating work that blends beauty with truth whether that’s through symbolism, history, or everyday life. My art often explores themes of resilience, identity, and the things people don’t always say out loud.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in real life my experiences, my community, and the stories that don’t always get told. Music, history, and emotion play a big role in my work. Sometimes it’s something as simple as a moment that sticks with me, and I build from there.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it back into my art upgrading my materials, creating larger and more impactful pieces, and building a space where I can work and grow consistently. I’d also use it to create opportunities to share my work with a wider audience and open doors that aren’t always accessible to artists like me.
