What is your favorite type of art to create?

I’m attuned to detailed, layered work that feels like a world you can step into. My process sits between precision and intuition—structured linework with an emotional undercurrent. Recently, I’ve been working within pieces drawn from my fathers mind, and finishing them in a way that feels collaborative across time. It’s not about control, it’s about listening—understanding the rhythm of what’s already been passed down to me. I like art that holds both chaos and intention.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in contrast—organic and mechanical, memory and present moment. Being raised by artists shaped how I see things, but lately inspiration has been quieter. It comes from sitting with something unfinished, from observing patterns, from revisiting work that still feels alive. There’s a kind of dialogue that happens when you engage with art over time. A lot of it is emotional—grief, connection, curiosity—but it shows up through structure and detail.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would invest in time and space to fully develop this body of work—materials, proper workspace, and the ability to create without constant financial pressure. I’d also archive and preserve the original pieces, ensuring they’re documented and protected long-term. Part of it would go toward sharing the work—exhibiting it in a way that keeps its heart in tact. It would allow me to take this from something personal into something that can connect to others.
