My favorite type of art to create is photography that captures quiet, real moments. I love noticing the small details people might overlook—light, texture, and stillness—and turning them into something meaningful. There’s a specific feeling when I get the shot, like everything just clicks—my breath catches for a second—and I know I’ve captured something I was meant to see.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in stillness—in the way light moves, in reflections, and in the emotions tied to memory. My faith shapes how I see those moments, reminding me that even the quietest details can carry meaning. I’m drawn to the idea that something deeper is always present, even when it isn’t immediately seen.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to invest more fully in my work—better tools, more time to create, and the ability to share my art more intentionally. More than anything, I want to create work that makes people pause—feel something real—and recognize the deeper meaning in moments they might otherwise overlook.
