I love to create stoneware pieces that reflect the long standing tradition of pottery making in NC. I love to make pieces that fit right in your hand, and showcase the food served in them.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in many of the historical and current books, photos and videos about pottery making. Living in rural Eastern NC I find inspiration in farm life and nature.
What would you do with $25,000?I would renovate my studio to make it as comfortable and accessible as possible. Also I would love take a few pottery workshops given by some of the potters I admire most.
