I create because beauty deserves to be noticed, even in the overlooked and ordinary. Chaos can be rearranged into something meaningful.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art styles—watercolor, junk journals, mixed media, and abstract—let me create freely without strict rules. I love the softness and flow of watercolor, the storytelling and layered memories in junk journals, and the texture and depth of mixed media. Abstract art ties it all together, giving me the freedom to express emotion and creativity in a raw, unfiltered way. Being able to explore ideas, and experiences in my own way.
Where do you find inspiration?Art, for me, begins when my mind softens and I become fully present. I don’t force it—I let the feeling of the piece guide me. In that quiet space, awareness replaces effort, and a relaxed, clear mind shapes what my hands create. It’s almost thoughtless, like drifting rather than deciding. I lose track of everything except the moment, and that’s where the real work happens. Inspiration comes and goes on its own terms—unpredictable, unplanned—and that’s exactly what I love about it. ♡♡♡
What would you do with $25,000?With a $25,000 prize, I would turn my art exhibit into a space of giving and growth—offering free mixed media workshops to underserved communities, providing supplies to those who can’t afford them, and creating a welcoming place for expression and healing. Part of the funds would support local outreach, while the rest would sustain my own artistic journey, allowing me to keep creating, write my children's books, start teaching, and giving back through every piece I make. ♡♡♡
