My favorite type of artwork to create is the type that I can create with my entire soul. Paintings especially. There's something so cathartic about baring your soul on canvas and to feel the paint on your skin.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspirations are related to the emotions I feel. Love, anger, pain, passion, peace, happiness.... all of those feelings you can't express publicly without holding back or being hushed or judged. Those feelings you can't express clearly. Music is another major inspiration, I like to paint out the feel of a song or album I'm really into.
What would you do with $25,000?I would put it a few different places. First and foremost, a college fund for my kids. My oldest daughter wants to go to college in Paris, and I'd like to help with that if I can. I'd also like to continue painting, and size up my paintings, perhaps try murals. I greatly enjoyed painting stage backgrounds in high school, and would like to make something that size again. Last, but not least, I'd use the money to get my family into newer apartment.
