I love that creating art gives myself and others a connection to express abstract thoughts and emotions that can’t be explained in words.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love the feel of paint through my fingers. I feel confidant painting large. I am drawn to high texture. I love creating works which often alter and morph by the shift of light or the viewers gaze revealing obscure faces and scenes in their own imagination. By merging science, philosophy, and art to explore ontological questions about existence, life, other dimensions and other abstract concepts, I hope to connect with the viewer where abstract thought is not only allowed, but celebrated.
Where do you find inspiration? The vastness and unknown of our universe propel me to paint abstract thoughts and visions surrounding concepts of time, life, the inbetween, alternate dimensions and other abstract ideas.
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000! would be life changing for me. I would give back. Particularly a donation to The Art of Elysium. I believe in its mission and The Lyons Club, for giving me lens implants. The second thing would be to give my 88 yr old Mom a gift. She has believed in me throughout my journey. Without her I wouldn’t be where I am today. The rest would go towards a big studio. I have thoroughly outgrown my mother’s garage. Finally, I would crank my music and paint and dance and sing all night!
