You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Wow I don’t believe I can accurately answer this because I love it all! I suppose if pressed for an answer it would have to be: that which is imbued with heart & passion. I feel those works speak their own language bred between the creator & the creation. The pieces that carry that essence touch the viewer & come in any & all shapes, mediums, or expressions. My life itself is a form of art. I express in my daily movements, what I cook, paint, do, say! Hope to embody & perpetuate art in all I am!
Where do you find inspiration? When Im able to sit aside my self & just take in the magic that whirls all about me im inspired by everything. Colors, sounds & experiences inspire. Ive been blessed in my life with muses! The body inspires, the mind of others, nature! Witnessing others capabilities & capacity to create inspires me to push myself further. Collaboration inspires me as well as community formed during those shared moments. The audience inspires me. Art is the echo, maybe even, looking glass to life itself for me!
What would you do with $25,000?Being funded in any way is a blessing to artists. The money propels my passion w/the proper materials to make art that protects &carries me. I utilize found material often & scrap in my work being a lil unknown artist from such & such 46years young a dream & penny or two in pocket has been an experience all on its own. I truly wanna make art available to everyone & think most are priced out of so I make a lot of my art pay what you feel/can or I gift it the money will help me continue to do this
