Creating art is my therapy and my passion—it’s a small way I give to others with hopes of sparking an emotion, connection, or inspiration.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating expressive, coastal-inspired mixed media—blending watercolor and acrylic with soft, desaturated tones and unexpected pops of color. It’s where emotion, texture, and storytelling come together.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the quiet, everyday moments—coastal skies, wildlife, shifting light, and the emotions tied to them. Living on the Gulf Coast, I’m constantly influenced by nature’s colors, textures, and movement.
What would you do with $25,000?Wow. For someone who lives paycheck to paycheck, it is hard to wrap my brain around this without it being a loan I must pay. First and foremost, I would pay off a few small debts to clear myself of any unnecessary debt. The remaining I would put $10,000 toward my dream of owning a dual coffee trolley & art studio. The business plan is complete! All I need now is the financial support to reach my dream! The remaining I would put in a savings for a rainy day fund. This could be life changing.
