I am primarily inspired by Rastafari culture and portraiture. Using the African liberation colors to express the root message of each piece.

While I appreciate art and experiment often, my passion is portraitures. Painting portraits that tell a cultural story. This creative process encourage I to study people and with study I am able to depict expressions and historical moments that heighten the vibes of the artwork and add to the theme of the painting.
Where do you find inspiration?Although my roots and culture is a primary inspiration for the art I create, and is reflected in each piece, currently I am inspired by young school age artist who desire to be professional artist when they grow, so outside of commissions and personal paintings I design cultural Art projects and workshops that do encourage the youth to continue more art. Watching the youth create freely has become a great inspiration and direction for I as a Artist along side building I art portfolio.
What would you do with $25,000?It would be a dream manifest to provide a space for Youth and "emerging" Artist to create their art, to Learn new techniques, build confidence in self as they create and display their Art. This award would benefit us with Art supplies and a Creative space: Studio, Gallery and other necessities. Allowing us to provide not only for our personal goals as a artist but offer opportunities for the next generation with little/no experience as artist, benefiting a community of young creators
