One of the benefits of creating art for me is its ability to tap into the mind. The artist's actions always bring up a sense of curiosity.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My preference for art creation is based on my mood. My affinity for letters and characters has always been present, and it increased after seeing the film Beat Street. Soon after, I developed a fondness for figurative abstract art due to its loud yet bold colors. It's important for me to mention that I have an absolute love for cartoons because the creativity behind them ignites a spark within me. To answer the question, I would say all of the above.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration for me comes from many sources, to be honest. When I wake up and start my day, or even something l overheard in a conversation, it is a form of inspiration. I believe that the art of the Renaissance, 14th-15th century is my most significant source of inspiration. The experience of visiting Italy put everything in perspective.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were fortunate enough to win $25,000, the money would enable me to have more freedom and creativity. I plan to travel and observe things to improve my artistry. Show my gratitude to those who have helped me throughout the years.
