Art is the expression of life. Art can evoke feelings that words simply cannot. I love art because it’s the truest form of expression.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Film making and video creation is my favorite type of art to make. I find so much satisfaction in the creative process. From storyboarding to costume design and editing style, there is so much creative choice in every individual video I make.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in people and places primarily. Whether it’s a conversation or experience I had with another individual or group or people I have passed by in life. Specific places also spark inspiration. If a light on the side of the building is a bit warmer than the others I start to daydream about what scene could happen there. Why the light is warmer and what could happen in this dimly lit space.
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000 is a number that I never would of thought I’d see in my bank account in my 20s. This amount of money would allow me to pay off half of my student loans and grant me the opportunity to buy my dream camera setup. Although creativity can happen with any tools, the opportunity to upgrade my gear would only fuel my passion and drive to create more and more.
