I paint with oils and palette knife for my canvas work. My cartoons and book illustrations are sketched, transferred to a drawing tablet and use several styles.
Where do you find inspiration?Animals talk to me for the picture books. Mother nature inspires paintings. But I also get inspired by the wine country, nature preserves and national forests on the hills that surround me.
What would you do with $25,000?I would restock my oils, pursue art exhibits, and buy a new imac as mine is a bit too old for current software. I would also support the local art leagues and provide free palette knife painting classes to local art associations.
