Art is my peace. I love the process of it. Depending on my life at the moment or my surroundings, it is a reflection of my state of mind.

I mostly create abstract pieces built from layered patterns, shapes, and color. Working primarily with ink and markers on paper, I’m drawn to the way colors interact -overlapping, bleeding, and building on one another to form depth and movement. Repetition and variation play a central role in my process, allowing each piece to evolve intuitively.
Where do you find inspiration?I find a lot of my inspiration from things I see in my everyday life. I take many walks outside and listen to a playlist that I’m feeling that day and just look around. Music plays a huge part in my art process, I never create in silence.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in higher quality materials and get my own art studio so I can fully devote my time into creating. This way I have the space to experiment with new mediums. After that I would love to host an art exhibition in New York, with a collective of young nyc artists.
