I love creating expressive, story-driven art that feels warm, joyful, and alive. My favorite pieces combine strong composition, movement, color, and personality to create an emotional connection with the viewer. I enjoy working across painting, illustration, photography, and animation, but I am especially drawn to pieces that invite people in and make everyday moments feel meaningful and memorable.

I find inspiration in everyday life, relationships, humor, memory, nature, and small moments that carry emotion or personality. Much of my process happens before I ever touch paint—I spend time developing concepts, refining composition, and thinking about how a piece should flow and feel. I am inspired by movement, storytelling, color, and the challenge of creating work that feels both intentional and approachable.

Winning $25,000 would help me dedicate focused time to creating & expanding my work. I would invest in supplies, equipment, & opportunities to grow as an artist while building a stronger portfolio & presence for exhibitions & future projects. I would also love to use part of the money to encourage creativity within the community through accessible art experiences, workshops, or mentorship. Art has the power to create connection, confidence, & joy, & I would love to share that with others.
