Art is how I make sense of chaos, capture fleeting feelings, and give shape to what words cannot hold.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m especially drawn to painting objects, everyday forms that often go unnoticed. I like isolating them, studying their shapes, textures, and the way light interacts with their surfaces. Through painting, I try to give these objects a quiet presence, turning something ordinary into something intentional and almost contemplative.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday objects, people, personal experiences, and quiet moments, things most people overlook. The way shadows behave, the texture of materials, or the composition of something simple on a table can spark an idea. I’m drawn to observing these details and transforming them into something more attention grabbing.
What would you do with $25,000?I would reinvest the money into my art, developing new work, upgrading materials, and creating more opportunities to exhibit. I’d also dedicate part of it to giving back, organizing or contributing to a charity gala centered around art to support causes I care about and make creativity a way to connect and help others.
