I love to paint because it takes me away from ordinary life and puts me in another world that is completely my story and how I see things.

It’s great when my mind takes over, like a spark, and I express my idea on the canvas. Seems like my best pieces begin with a fantasy like idea and I have the courage to go and grow with it to make it happen. The idea turns into a story and every brushstroke becomes a way to make the story more defined and real.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration is all around. I think I internalize everything within my total range. Painting is a way to focus on a particular thing and do something with it. I get thoughts out of my head and work on them. Expressing myself becomes inspiring.
What would you do with $25,000?I really don’t know exactly what I would do with this. I do know that I would be very mindful about it. I would first have to make sure I wasn’t dreaming….
